In a sea
of but one.
If the greatest thing you'll ever learn is to be loved in return, start by reaching out. My grandfather did in his latter years, blossoming love previously unknown. He reached out, invited me into his world and asked me about mine. Memories of a cold, authoritarian, angry man and a rebellious cheeky-tongued grandson evaporated; our narrative gave way to memories of a kind and generous man and an accepting and caring grandson. It is never too late.
